I found this to be a good light read full of insight I to the subject. I was looking for something that went beyond the mythology, and/or a purely Asatru perspective, and was happy to find that this book was written in a more scholarly way, minus the dry and lengthy of the typical book by professors and the like. It has a lot of information, despite it's relatively short length, and I feel it would be a good read for anyone who likes the subject, or who practices Asatru, and who wants to learn about the day to day spiritual and religious practices of ancient Scandinavia. I am glad I bought and read the book.Product details

Great book!
Good
Short but interesting description of Scandinavian prechristian religion. Much remains unknown due to lack of documentation but this volume makes no assumptions. Interesting was the lack of a priestly class.
